Aids to Navigation Discrepancies
The responsibility for most of the navigation markers became Appalachian Power Company's on April 1, 2010. In an effort to assist all who enjoy the lake and because of the priority of safety, TLAC has determined it is in the public's best interest to continue its role of handling the outage and malfunction reports. TLAC will forward reports of malfunctions to APCO immediately. If you are interested in monitoring a specific channel marker, or lighted shoal marker on a regular basis, please contact us, or refer to the Adopt-a-Light section of this website.
